I applied for a job as a data entry clerk at indeed.com then a week later someone From Apex Group Ltd contacted me by message saying they received my resume and that they would like to interview me for the Job as soon as possible and they offered $45/hr. They send me a code to enter in Telegram where they asked me about my job experience and everything related to the job position. That's why i thought it was legit then, they reviewed my answers and told me or text me (everything was via messaging) that i scored 9/10 and that i got hired. The next day a received a check and they told me it was to buy supplies and the software i will use to complete the job duties. that was weird to me but because this was my first time getting a remote job i thought it was normal. When the check cleared they told me to send the money to vendors or the people that were supposed to send me the supplies. So i did that , then i couldn't send anymore more via Zelle so they told me to buy bitcoin to pay the other vendor and i said no that this sounded fishy and i didn't agree to that then they told me to send it via mail, and naive me so i did (thinking that they could accused me of stealing their money. two days later the check bounced and my account was -negative for the amount of the check. i had to file a police report and dispute at the bank. I just hoping this issue gets resolved.
