Description

I received this email to my college email after receiving an email about an opportunity for students at my college, i was to be paid to have my car wrapped in a decal promoting the 2020 Olympics and I would be paid $300/week I was emailed a check for almost $2000 and he told me to just print it out myself. After searching his name, calling the phone number, and looking up the company on the check (a school that teaches English) I became extremely suspicious. Did some more digging and found several complaints on a phone number who called me website about the same name and email with that phone number. Smith Hooks or Anthony Smith has been using several different companies to try to pull off his scam.
