Scammer named Micheal Patterson using email [email protected] attempted to contact me via email stating that I can earn $250 a week plus $50 in gas compensation for having my car wrapped or have decals placed on my car as advertisement for the 2020 Olympic games. Scammer claimed to be the Hiring Coordinator/Logistics Supervisor. The scammer gave a bunch of 'filler' information about the Olympic games as a way to divert my attention and to attempt to persuade me into believing the scam. Scammer stated program participation lasted for 6 months with minimum participation of 2 months. Many spelling errors in email. Also, 2020 Summer Olympics are held in Tokyo and not North America. Scammer was asking for my full name, residential mailing address, city, state, zip code, country, make of car/year, and telephone. I suspect scammer would payout in void checks that bounce and I'd be stuck paying fees for the bounced checks that would be credited to scammers account some how. Scammer also claimed I had to pay for advertisements to be put onto my car.
