Target applied to position on Indeed, indeed position said they chose another candidate but “referred” target to fully remote job and to send resume to email. Target reached out, and scammer asked personal information and to procure certain supplies. Target felt suspicious and did not respond. Scammer reached out again promising to send check and to book flights. Target blocked scammer and destroyed check.
