They contacted me and from 4 different phone numbers in Arizona, Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey. The man stated I was delinquent on a contract from Check N Go in 2005. They sent me a settlement agreement from a Reid&Reed associates from Los Angeles. I called back and asked for a copy of the contract from 2005, which they would not provide. They said the lawyer was going to take me to court and put a lien on my home. But they could not provide me with the lawyer's bar number to verify. From searching on the State of California Bar, there is no law firm in Los Angeles, or all of California by that name. Further Google searching turned up no business by that name, in California or any other state.
