Craigslist post offering $400 for a remote song recording gig. I replied and got a response within the hour describing the gig. The email asked me to reply to a [email protected] That odd email address had be skeptical if it was real, so I went to housesmart.cfd which looks legit, but then none of the navigation links were actually links. I googled the phone number on the site +1-612-567-6301 - and sure enough I found several people reporting the same scam - saying that they were provided a contract, and then didn't get a check for the promised $400, but for $400 and were supposed to cash and return the difference.
