An elderly woman, 86 years old and living with dementia, was targeted by a scam company. They falsely claimed her cable TV service was being upgraded. In reality, her cable provider does not call customers unless service is disconnected due to non-payment. Taking advantage of her condition, this fraudulent company accessed her account and began using multiple entities to withdraw money from her checking account. If this continues, they could deplete her entire account. This exploitation of a vulnerable senior must be stopped immediately.
