Supposedly the service man called me from the water company indicating they were down at the house ready to turn off our water. because I have unpaid balance for many months. He said, he could wait to turn the water off until I call the office and see if I can get it straightened out. He transferred me to the receptionist, then that person transfer me to a accounting person rep that had a strong accent. I argued with him about the amount and how this could be happening, he transferred me to a manager. The manager wanted me to go to 7/11 and pay 500 and give them a number that they texted to me. He said their systems are new and there were problems and that was the only way I can avoid not cutting the water. Like an angry dumb *** I did it. Then the manager called me back and told me they made a mistake and it is 500 more to avoid cutting the water. At this point, I am irate and screaming. But I went and did it. 1000 total. They used 800 numbers with service and everything. It was very compelling. I was desperate to avoid cutting the water. I called the 800 and pretended to be a customer that needed to pay a bill and they fell for it. But I already knew I got ripped off.
