My sister was moving out of 810 Castell and told by her property superintendent that he would discard her couch at no cost to her. We used a U-Haul for the rest of the furniture to move it elsewhere, leaving the couch inside the apartment under the impression that the superintendent would dispose of it like he said. We returned the U-Haul under the impression that there was no need to bring the couch to waste management locations to be disposed of. The property manager came in and said the superintendent is not allowed to dispose of unwanted furniture as he told my sister he would, and that we now have to hire a third party to remove the furniture. We were on a time constraint with her pets medicated and the uhaul was already returned when the property management changed their stance. The manager called the super intendant and asked him if he had plans for the couch. He said no so she told us we need to hire another company to remove the furniture and they would bill my sister. They were misleading, dishonest, and exploiting time constraints. I have a audio file of the conversation which can't be uploaded here but I'm happy to provide that.
