I believe this is a scam. I received a phone call this morning saying that they tried to renew our Quickbooks Data Service account but the payment did not process and they needed an updated account or cc for payment. I believe I fell for this last year as a one-time payment, even though we had monthly payments set up for our QB Online account because I never saw the one-time payment show up in any of my QB Payment History nor does this product show up on my QB/Intuit account’s products/subscriptions. So I asked for them what services is this for and was told that it provided all the background software and application updates to ensure our Quickbooks accounts work seamlessly. I then asked to provide me with the account number they were inquiring about and email us an invoice and received the email below. I googled that address and it appears to be a home in a residential neighborhood and I am also suspicious of the way that they spelled check/ "cheque", more commonly used by non-Americans.
