Was contacted by Donna Thomas about a friend whose husband had passed away and she wanted to find a good home for a piano of his. After I said my company was not interested, a Rogelia Caldwell emailed me and said she was the woman whose husband had passed and feel free to share her contact info to folks that might be interested. Rather than do that, I asked a few people and found someone and let her know I had an interested party. She then let me know she was moving to France in two weeks. She was going into surgery so she might not be available for a few days. I would need to settle this with the moving company. The piano was in storage with them and the company, and the piano were in Calgary, Alberta. I was suspicious at this point since my company generally deals with people in our region and this was far away in another country and all the other weird details. The person I found was still interested in possibly paying shipping costs for the piano, so I asked for company info and got an email from Christopher McAstocker from Metro Global Link Freight and Forwarding. I looked up the company and found they were on a scam alert site and then I found this. I said I wasn't interested, and they did not contact me again.
