I had bought a ring for my fiancé for our engagement. Within the first month one of the gemstones had popped out, we sent the ring back and repeatedly had asked for the prongs holding the gemstones to be tightened to avoid it happening again. Upon receiving the ring back, the very same gemstone popped back out of the ring! I reached out again and was met with awful customer support: the emails were rude and unhelpful, for example when the complaint was made about the ring being poorly made and the fix not actually being made, they responded by explaining how jewelry works in hands and how we use our hands for a lot of things and that it wasn’t a problem with the ring when the stone had popped out by itself. From there, they offered to reimburse $20 to have the ring redone at a local jeweler, when redoing the ring was $2800 that barely put a dent in how much it would cost. As the cherry on top, the local jeweler we took the ring to said the “moissanite” in the ring wasn’t actually moissanite, which is awful because they sent “certification” for it being actual moissanite. When this issue was brought up, they offered a refund but with 35% deducted from the cost for a restocking fee. All in all, it was a horrible experience from a customer perspective, and to receive condescending remarks and less than helpful responses.
