I am Board Chair of a Non Profit Music School in Northern California. One of our board members was contacted by "Marie Billick" who stated that she wanted to donate a Yamaha GC1 Piano to the school, her husband had died within the last year and she wanted to give it to a NP. She wrote that she was leaving to live in France and had an urgency to donating the piano, with us being responsible for the moving costs. She stated that the piano was in storage and her rental contract was expiring. She sweetened the scam by saying that the shipping company - Metro GlobalLink Logistics & Freight - had offered a reduced rate. The company's website is very suspect, with the phone number listed as (000) 000-0000.
