I responded to a listing on Craigslist in the gig section looking for two people for a post construction cleaning of a newly opened gym. Arrived on site at the scheduled time to find the project manager had never met the guy who had hired us. We set about cleaning, and upon nearing the end of the cleaning gig the project manager asked us if we were certain on how we were going to get paid and if we had ever met Dimitry before. We answered honestly, that no we had not and we had only spoken to him once or twice over the phone. The project manager informed us that he had not spoken to him at all, and insisted that we inform Dimitri that if he wishes to be paid he must come down to the job site to speak to the project manager in person. Upon sending that message, Dimitri has entirely disappeared and is unresponsive.
