I received a message on X asking me to reply back to a message so that Elon Musk could interact with his fans. I was asked to download the Coinbase Wallet I guess in an attempt to send me some money. I didn't feel comfortable doing that, so the next thing I was introduced to was Evedex, a crypto trading site. I googled to see if it was legit; and at that time, it indicated that it was. Later I discovered it wasn't. I invested $5K and was getting uncomfortable, so I now know it was a fake US Fraud Unit rep that noticed my activity. He told me my $5k was stolen and then said he was connecting me with the real Elon. I was assured my $5k was returned and was safe in Evedex. I ended up investing $20, 400 before I quit, and $5k of that was my sister's. I tried to get my money out of my account for months without success. I reported the scam on X, the Scam Division, the FBI and now you. Not only did I get scammed via Evedex, I got at least 12-18 people respond suggesting retrievers who helped them get their funds back. I got scammed an additional $500 crypto because I believed their lying mouths. These slimes need to be stopped. I have my transactions, text messages, etc. that I will gladly provide to help in any way I can to catch these scumbags. Thanks for your help.
