I was approached via text regarding a job offer and then was told to download WhatsApp to keep corresponding I was told I’d get paid via Bitcoin and to download Meta Mask but when reading other people’s experiences, I am not sure why they had to pay any money. I contacted my bank who said it was a scam and not to do it but the person id been dealing with said that of course the bank would say that since crypto is competition for banks. I completed some training which consisted of tasks but I stopped when it came time to get my commission since I didn’t feel comfortable giving my banking info or debit card info. I was told they’re an international company and that’s why they pay in crypto currency. I thought this would be the perfect job so I’m really disappointed and trying to determine if this is in fact a scam or not.
