I was called by the company who switched me to an agent named Victor ****. His phone number is ###-###-####. He said the company that he works for is Travel Leisure Company, and that he works in partnership with Interval International. I am a new owner through a timeshare company, and I thought that he was legitimate. He asked to buy six weeks of my getaway vacation through interval international so that he could sell those weeks to corporations who are having conventions in Florida. Mr. **** said he would sell each of the weeks for $1800 and that if I paid him $1995, after he sells the weeks, I will be getting $10,800. He gave me the number to the home office, but when I googled the number, it came up to a different business (###-###-####). I also tried looking up a website for them and they do not have one. I fell for the scam and used my credit card to pay the $1995. After more research into this “company”, I called the next day to cancel the contract.
