My sister received a mailer stating company was United Healthcare and they maybe able to assist with Medical Supplement expenses, i.e. Medicare Part B savings, utility savings, nutrition and transportation. When we called the number, the man said his name is Ray but he had a very heavy accent. He asked if sister was a United Healthcare member and asked for UNC member id. I then got suspicious and said before we give number, I was going to check the phone number. He then said he would transfer us to member services. I saw the phone number had a scam id attached so we hung up.
