I was contacted by a Michael Evans who said he worked for Real Estate Professionals LLP in Boston and offered to buy my Vacation club memberships. I sent him the necessary documents, but instead of sending them to his email address I did it the old-fashioned way and mailed them by USPS to the physical address listed on his letterhead. When I mentioned this to Mr. Evans he was alarmed, and he said please send the documents to his email address, which I did. The cash offers which Mr. Evans quoted seemed 'too good to be true'. I was so elated (but suspicious) and said I would like to travel to Boston to meet Mr. Evans, but when I mentioned this to Mr. Evans he seemed hesitant and was reluctant to set up a date. A few days later my original letter with my documents was returned by USPS saying the physical address did not exist. I grew suspicious and tried to contact Mr. Evans repeatedly but he did not answer his phone. I then searched on the internet where I came upon the reports of similar scams by Real Estate Professionals. If "it is too good to be true, it is too good to be true"
