A scammer contacted me via WhatsApp pretending to be someone they accidentally messaged. They quickly escalated the conversation into a “fated” friendship and began sharing personal details and photos. After gaining some rapport, they offered me a chance to “train online” and earn 15% commissions via a website they claimed to work for: https://work.awalmusicpromo.com/register. They showed fake earnings (over $37,000), and when I declined to sign up, they became emotionally manipulative and eventually hostile. This is a clear romance/investment scam using impersonation and false emotional bonding to lure people into visiting or registering on fake affiliate platforms. The site uses the name of a legitimate brand (AWAL) to appear credible.
