I got a follow-up email in the mail about a job I applied for, but when I went to check linkedIn for the job listing, I couldn't find it anymore. This is what the email said: Dear (my name) I'm happy to inform you that Zavalla ISD has noticed your qualities after looking over your LinkedIn profile, especially for our Proofreader position. You stick out as a possible applicant that we want to move forward with in the hiring process. Our goal is to make sure that your goals and experience align with the values and responsibilities of Zavalla ISD. Please indicate that you are "Interested" in pursuing this possible collaboration and that you have received this communication. They gave me an interview screening questionnaire, and then, afterwards, I got the job without conducting any further interviews. I never met them face-to-face either. They also said that they were going to send me a check in the mail to purchase equipment and software for my remote job.
