Dear Better Business Bureau, I am filing a complaint regarding a fraudulent experience with flightgorilla.com a flight booking website. On May 27, 2025, I booked a flight through this website. Shortly after, I received a call from their representative stating that the price of my selected flight had increased to $361. I agreed to the revised cost and proceeded with the purchase. A few days later—just one day before my scheduled flight—I was informed that my booking could not be completed. I was advised to purchase a new ticket directly from Southwest Airlines at $525.45, with a promise that my original payment of $361 would be refunded within 7 to 10 business days. Despite waiting for 16 days, no refund has been issued. When I attempt to contact the company, my calls are consistently redirected to voicemail. However, when they initially needed payment, communication was immediate and seamless. Now that I am seeking my refund, they are entirely unresponsive. This company appears to be engaging in deceptive practices, taking payments from consumers without fulfilling services, and failing to honor refund commitments. I request that the BBB investigate this issue and take appropriate action to prevent others from being affected by similar fraudulent practices. Please confirm receipt of my complaint and advise on the next steps for resolution.
