I entered into a contract with Coco Construction to repair hurricane damage to my home. They breached the contract in numerous ways including: not replacing the correct number of damaged studs, not replacing insulation in the walls, and providing inferior materials for an interior beam. They also damaged parts of the electrical wiring in my house and did not repair it adequately. They damaged the HVAC system as well. When I called them out on the breach of contract, they tried to back out of the contract. They became verbally abusive when I called them out. After firing them from the job, I found numerous items in my house missing including my security camera system and numerous tools in my garage. They have since returned to my house numerous times after hours to harass me by banging on my walls, damaging my siding, trying to rip the gutters off of my house, and trying to remove shutters off of my house. They have even continued to harass me by repeatedly calling and texting me. I also found out that they gave me a bogus insurance certificate, and that they did not have a contractor's license. I have since filed suite in Jefferson Parish, and I have been awarded a $25,000 summary judgement. I would give them zero stars if possible.
