- Government Actions:Government Action: BBB reports on known government actions involving business’ marketplace conduct:Minnesota Department of Labor & Industry Consent Order
On September 6, 2024, the business entered into a Consent Order with the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). The Consent Order settles allegations that the business violated Minn. Stat. 326B.809; 326B.84 (4); 326B.86, subd. 2 (2022) and Minn. Rule 2891.0040 subp. 1H (2021). Under terms of the Order, the business agreed to ensure all contracts and change orders are in writing and include performanace guidelines, a detailed summary of the work and materials to be provided. The business also agreed to secure all permits before beginning work, request timely inspections and provide reasonable supervision for all their Minnesota construction projects. The business also agreed to have and maintain genal liability insurance and provide a copy to DLI annually.
The business will also pay $1,500.00 of a $5,000.00 fine, with the balance stayed on the condition that they fully comply with the terms of the Order and have no future violations of any laws, rules or orders under DLI authority. The Consent Order was for settlement purposes only and should not be considered as an admission of guilt or finding of violation of the law. For more details go to the link below.
