Founded in 1928, BBB Connecticut is an unbiased non-profit organization that sets and upholds high standards for fair and honest business behavior.

One of the reasons that so many businesses support BBB is because we’re a non-profit organization and all of our funding comes directly from the business community. We’re governed by 2 dozen local business leaders who volunteer their time on our Board of Directors. We publish impartial, objective reports on over 42,000 Connecticut businesses and everything we do for the community is absolutely free … our scam investigations, our dispute resolution services, our special Military Line programs for active duty, veterans and their families, our fraud investigations, our consumer education programs – everything – we don’t charge anyone for any of our public services.
