Free Secure Data Destruction & Electronics Recycling Event

October 29, 2026 | 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Location: 334 Bluewater Rd, Bedford, NS B4B 1J6

In celebration of Cyber Security Awareness Month and Circular Economy Month, we are partnering with Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) to host a Free Electronics Recycling & Secure Data Destruction Event focused on sustainability, data protection, and community impact.

The initiative will provide residents and businesses with a secure and responsible way to dispose of unused electronics while ensuring sensitive data is properly destroyed. ERA will offer free on-site shredding for hard drives, USBs, and discs using its mobile shredding unit, allowing participants to witness secure data destruction in real time.
