There are no additional costs if BBB creates your website. A website for your business is included as a benefit of BBB Member Accreditation.

Yes, by request only. We can give you access to edit and/or add content to your BBB supplied website. Website maintenance is included with BBB Member Accreditation, but in some cases you may want to be more “hands-on” and edit your website. If you want access to edit your website, please contact your BBB Account Rep.

Yes. Once our brand development team is ready to begin developing a website, they search for the business on social media to gather as much relevant, accurate content (text, logos, photos, phrases, keywords, slogans, etc) as we can about the business. We then organize this content and use it to develop the website.

Yes, but they must be hosted on a third-party video site such as YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, etc. You must provide BBB the direct link to the video in order to include it on the website.

Yes. BBB installs an SSL certificate on every website we launch. 

Yes. BBB adds a contact form to every website we develop (unless requested otherwise). All submissions on this contact form are automatically submitted to your email address on file with BBB.

BBB only adds the Customer Review link and/or Get a Quote button by request.

Yes. All of our websites are optimized for mobile device use. 

Yes. Our team adds the BBB Accredited Business Seal to every website we develop (unless requested otherwise). The dynamic seal displays your current BBB Accreditation status and BBB Rating.

Yes, BBB provide two options for an Online Store / E-Commerce for Your Business

Yes, it requires consistent content updates to the website with content provided by you. We also recommend that business owners start a blog on their website (and make blog posts) to help with their SEO. All of the websites our team develops are optimized for Google, but there’s no guaranteed method of making a business website appear at the top of a Google search.

There are three ways to view the activity on your website.

1. Login to your BBB Member Accredited Business Account
   Then select "My Website Deigned by BBB" from the main menu.
   Then select "View Website Metrics"
2. Via your Weebly login (if you have one)
3. Contact your BBB Account Rep and they can get your activity for you

Login to your BBB Account and select Activate Your Member Benefits, then select 'A Custom Website for My Business' or contact your BBB Account Rep for help.

Enhance My Website

When BBB has finished developing your website, you will receive an email informing you about your new website. This email also provides a brief introduction and requests that you respond with feedback and/or additional content for your website.

Yes. BBB does some market research to determine the best domain name for your business. We then search for availability, purchase the domain, and from there we begin to develop the website.   BBB pays for your domain name as long as you are a BBB Member Accredited Business.

If your business is in Boston, your domain will be .boston instead of .com

Yes, if BBB notices you do not have a website, we will draft a website for you, share it with you, and make it live. 

However if you want one created, please Login to your BBB Account and select 'Activate Your Member Benefits,' then select 'A Custom Website for My Business' or you may contact your BBB Account Rep for help.

Yes. Your domain name must be transferred from your provider over to BBB’s provider (GoDaddy) in order for BBB to launch your new website.

BBB recommends you only have one active website to maximize SEO.

No. Our websites are optimized for Google, but there’s no guaranteed method of making a business website appear at the top of a Google search. Constantly adding new content, posting blogs, and promoting your website on your social media accounts are just a few of the many methods of improving a website’s Google search ranking.

Yes, we can add GA4 (Google Analytics 4), and any other appropriate main stream tracking code.
