If I could give zero stars, it would be that. I have been buying and selling on Thredup for years. While their quality of accepted clothing they resell has gotten better over the years, what they do to sellers and their items is just dispicable. In the last year I have sent in 2 bags to sell. Like other reviewers, I knew that some items would not be accepted. I keep a log of what I send in to make certain their count matches mine. And it never does, items always go missing. Always. There is high theft in their warehouse - how could there not be? You send in items on good faith, and they take advantage every time. The bag I sent in a month ago had 26 items, 17 of those were accepted, and 4 had no value. So where are the other 5 items? I contacted support, they gave me the standard run around answers, and then told me that their count was 28 items, and I should have paid them another $11 to not steal my items. OK, so why only report a total of 21? Big discrepancy. When I contacted them again to explain where those items went - no response. I contacted them again - no response. So they only reply when it suits them, and when they have no answers because they were called out, they just ignore you. How professional. And their only response was some chipper Zoomer repeat of their policies answers. This company is a complete scam. DO NOT SEND YOUR CLOTHING TO THIS COMPANY. I don't care about the lost money - they don't pay much anyway. But they have ZERO INTEGRITY, they LIE and they are NOT ACCOUTABLE. Their warehouse staff stole a Free People pleather jacket in perfectly good condition, and other Free People items from my bag. ***** will catch up with them. It's really very sad that no one can be trusted anymore. On top of that, they refuse items that were puchased from them, in the same condition they were sold, never worn, and they say they have no value. HORRIBLE COMPANY OF LIERS!
