            Today 5/19/23 at approximately 10:30pm PDT, I made several attempts to cancel the 7 day free trial subscription online, however, the Cancel Subscription button was grayed out and their system without explanation would not complete the cancelation request. According to the orginal confirmation I am supposed to be able to cancel online through the account until 5/20/23 approximately 1:38pm Eastern Time.

            Please stay away from LegalContracts.com. After reading some reviews, the company is taking advantage of people with terrible communication about the free subscription. My husband and I are senior citizens who depend on clear communication regarding free trials, automatic renewals, etc. Yes, it was our fault for not catching the fact we were getting billed $33.00 each month with absolutely no usage. My husband signed up for the *free* trial, produced one document which was subpar, and didn't realize the charges were coming. Horrible customer service.

I am sorry if you think that our document is subpar. Our form templates and software are drafted and revised by our in-house legal department and we service worldwide. The documents are generated based on the answers you enter. Once completed, it is a legal document. The answers you select and how you edit the document can potentially affect whether the form is legally enforceable and valid. So maybe check the details of your answers and see if you have entered some information that has made the document subpar.Regarding the fees, it is not based on usage. The subscription automatically renews to a monthly service if you do not cancel the free trial before it expires as you had agreed upon when you signed up for the service. This was clearly stated on the site twice, and we also sent you emails regarding your subscription. Unfortunately, since the cancellation of your monthly subscription was just after two years from your initial sign-up, no refunds will be processed. We understand this may be frustrating, but our charges show on your bank statement which should have prompted you to give us a call right away to let us know that you will not continue the service.We appreciate you leaving us a review, and thank you for using LegalContracts.com for your legal document needs.Regards, Divine Customer Support
