We bought a brand new house in Leduc, and were directed to go to Trail Appliances to pick out our appliances. We decided to get a water softener and a drinkable water system. We took possession on the 16th of January. yet it took weeks for our drinking water system to be hooked up. We are not satisfied with the system that we bought. Here are a few things that are happening, the water taste stale, there are salt deposits in tank of toilet and rust in the toilet bowl, the dogs keep drinking and drinking, yet their urine is still strong and they are up most of the night going to the bathroom, there is salt crystals on dog’s bowel movement, my kidneys are bothering me to the point that my Dr has noticed a decline in them, my daughter and I are up 3 or 4 times a night going to the bathroom, there is residue on the glass shower doors, my plants have died from using our drinking water from the small tap, one of the plants was a bonsai that was over 70 years old, we had culligan come in and test our water and they found out that there is salt in our drinking water. My daughter emailed Trail appliances and asked them to come take out their system, as the last tech who was here on the 19th of April said that there was nothing that he could do and he couldn't take the system out or he would get in trouble. The response to the email was that it was passed up to management. So we went in to Trail to talk to ***** the service manager on the 2nd of May and advised him that we were bringing it back. He didn't want to take it back, he said he wanted to work with us. But we tried with 4 different techs, nothing changed. He finally said that he would give 70% back, as there was a 30% restocking fee. We advised him that we would be back on saturday. When we brought the system back, he told me that I didn't load it right in the truck, and that it was damaged and I was not getting any money back. I am now out all that money.
