      Ill start by saying if I could give less than 1 star I would. We purchased an OTR microwave from the South ******** location back in October 2023. The sales *************** set up to have it installed. The company that **** sent out to install it, cracked our glass backsplash. We dealt with the installation company for months before reaching out to Trail. Trail Appliances refuses to do anything in regards to the damaged backsplash. A manager called and told us that because **** didnt put it on the sales receipt, there is no proof they arranged to have it installed, basically calling us liars. Trail refuses to take any responsibility for this and instead are blaming us and the installation company. We sure didnt find that company ourselves, Trail has proven themselves to be a bunch a sleazy scumbag **********. This is the first and last purchase we will ever make with Trail. I would never recommend them.

      Excellent products and excellent turn around time for in stock deliveries and very professional delivery persons, however I dealt with ********* store in ********* and very high pressure sales agent (***) over phone, defensive and argumentative managers and sales agent when issues with over size of occurred and item needed to be replaced. Firstly I was told if paid by noon would come next day and I paid by 11:30 and was unable to be next day so was day after which was not a big issue for me but when I tried to fill out online review page only took me to ****** maps so I called to speak to manager to let them know to set the expectation lower so customers would not be disappointed if couldnt be next day and she was super defensive and argumentative. When item ordered didnt fit, despite me giving dimensions to sales agent in feet and he converted to inches and told me it would fit, it had to be sent back, so when I called to re order I hd to talk to same agent and he was in a meeting then went home after I was told hed call (apparently the manager Id been directed to from customer service when I called to re order write down my number wrong. So when I called next day after not receiving the promised phone call from sales agent, the agent was defensive and argumentative and told me hed have his manger call me, when she did (******) she was cold, lacked any empathy and was defensive. I explained I had wanted to repurchase but after the poor service I was just going to cancel and she said fine and theyd still charge delivery fee. My family has dealt with Trail in the past but due to the exceedingly poor customer service I received regarding this issue I will think twice and will not deal with Rupert ***

      Terrible customer service from the Store on 149 street. Bought a new refrigerator and had it delivered. There was damage to both doors, I waited 3 months for them to replace the doors, when the new doors came there was damage to one of them. I asked them to replace that door. They told me that the warranty period on cosmetic damage was 30 days from date of purchase and that they wouldn't do anything to help. I'm ok with a 30 day period for cosmetic damage if they had managed to ever send me a door that wasn't damaged from the start. They then started to play me around between the two stores in Edmonton as if they didn't know who should deal with it. Finally they phoned and said their review had concluded it was my fault ???????? and there was no recourse as far as they were concerned. I tried contacting them again and now they don't return any of my messages. Good luck getting decent service if there's any issue with your purchased appliances.

      I recently bought a new place and was sent to Trail Appliances to choose my appliances. I paid an additional $1000 for LG appliances because I was told the quality of the appliances was much better than Samsung. When I moved in, I noticed a mark on the stove top. I tried to clean it, but it seemed like the mark was underneath the stovetop. I contacted trail appliances via email and they said it was my fault and it was a "cosmetic" problem so they could do nothing to help me. I then went to the South Side Store in Edmonton with my family. The sales associate there tried his hardest to convince us that it was our fault. He told us to clean it. However, I knew it was not our fault and it was a manufacture issue. They told me they could send out a technician to take a look, but it was our fault and the technician would say the same. So, I decided to go ahead with it and have the technician come. The technician came yesterday and as soon as he saw it, he said it was a manufacture issue and the mark was probably there when it was delivered and put it the house. I am very dissatisfied by the service I received from Trail Appliances, and how they did not care about the needs or satisfaction of the customers. I would never shop at Trail Appliances again and highly encourage others to look elsewhere.
