how it works
What a review is, and how BBB works to keep reviews trustworthy.
A BBB Customer Review lets you share your feedback about a business or brand. Before a review is published, BBB verifies that a marketplace interaction took place and gives the business an opportunity to respond.
how we keep reviews trustworthy
BBB takes steps to help ensure Customer Reviews reflect real marketplace interactions:
Verify the reviewer
Validate the reviewer's email address or phone number before the review moves forward.
Confirm the interaction
Allows the business to confirm the customer interaction and respond.
Let both sides comment
Both the reviewer and the business can add comments. BBB does not allow comments from third parties.
Scrub the content
Remove inappropriate language and personal information before the review is published.
No fakes
No anonymous reviews, and none where the consumer was compensated, either directly or indirectly.
Publish to the profile
Post the completed customer review to the company's BBB Business Profile.
Even with all these steps, BBB cannot guarantee the accuracy or truthfulness of any single review.
