              I began shopping at Aldis recently, picking up everyday essentials, and have been very happy with the items. Recently, my husband's health changed and I've needed to change items he could eat. I picked up 2 frozen dinners, one was Lobster Mac and Cheese and the other was Lobster and Shrimp Bake. Both show a very adequate amount of shrimp and Lobster on the front. Unfortunately, this is false advertisement at its worse. There's some kind of "filling" in these items that had the taste of tomato paste but nothing resembles seafood. The box does say "shrimp and Lobster blended with ricotta and tomato" and construed as stirred together, certainly not chopped. Neither of these frozen dinners have merit of being Lobster or shrimp.

              I was forced to leave a one star review in order to tell you that Aldi has TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I placed my first order to them through a delivery service, Instacart. There were no agents available to talk, only chat. They did not deliver the product that was the main reason I placed an order. The people at Aldi I chatted with texted that I had to pay an additional fee to get an answer regarding my problem, but was told it was refundable. When I placed my order, I did not see a disclosure that this would be the case. No Aldi store can be contacted directly, their numbers are unlisted to save us money ??! The people at Instacart did not resolve my issue and eventually just refused to answer my questions or chat with me. The shopper at Instacart did not call me to tell me one item was out of stock, refunded that amount, so I'm the end, I had to pay a 5 dollar service fee and a 2 dollar tip for $9.72 for grapes and cheese. Terrible customer service at both places.
