      Terrible customer service.’m extremely disappointed with the customer service I received. Not only was the issue unresolved, but the representative I dealt with showed no ******* ** willingness to help. It felt like I was just another number in a queue—there was no effort to understand my concern or offer a real solution.
      What made it worse was the dismissive tone and lack of follow-up.

      Sunlife has delisted a lot of companies and did not inform their clients. I bought a blood pressure machine and compared the price with three other providers. Sunlife will not reimburse me the reason stated on my claim is the company was delisted. Why are you allowed to type in a provider and submit a claim? if a company is delisted you should not be able to add this name. I asked for a listing of the delisted companies and they refused to send this to me. Their customer service is horrible and you cannot even send them an email. They make it impossible for seniors like me who are not tech savvy to submit a legitimate claim. * ****** **** ** ******** *** **** ******* ********* ******* ** ****** *** *******

      Disappointed with Sunlife on how they use my money for investment
      Along with premium, Sunlife also collects investment portion. They don't tell you how your investment is performing till an annual report is generated. If your investment is doing bad, there is no opportunity or scope of course correction in between. Only advisors are allowed to make a change. Sunlife does not let you know how many investment funds are available and what is their performance. ********** **** ******* **** ***** *** *** ** ******** **** ****** *** they only report through complicated one-way advisor channel how your investment is doing. **** *** **** **** ** ******* *** ** ***** ** **** ** * *** ******* **** ******** The advisor tries to pacify you by escalating the issue to even worse escalation team who repeats what the advisor already have told you. Their system cannot generate fund performance report on monthly basis so you can make investment correction at least on a monthly basis and not on yearly basis. Also, their website does not show you how your investment is performing in the stock market/exchange. ******* **** **** ********* **** * ***** ****** ****** ** ***** ** ****** ** *** ********* ************ ********** ****** ******* ** ** ******* **** ******* ** ******

      I had Sunlife insurance for awhile. I decided to cancel it. I called them and canceled as per instruction I was given. They took 2 more partial payments anyway. I had to call my bank and cancel any further payments with my bank. I called again to head office, but they don't know anything apparently. They directed me to the local office. We exchanged emails and nothing. It's been 3 weeks.       My parents started a life insurance policy in 1976.  In 2012 a Sun Life representative informed us that we could withdrawal mature dividends in the amount of 3200 and that it would not affect our policy in any way no documents were signed and we used the money to pay off a one year interest free furniture loan. To our disbelief we were informed years later that Sun Life classified it as a loan which had accumulated extensive interest and depleted our policy.       After we canceled the insurance, they kept charging us premiums period for 2 months it took 7 phone calls for them to realize it eas their mistake. They refused to pay for the last appointments for a massage therapy that was within the time frame of them have to pay for it. But because the insurance was canceled, 2 day later they didn't pay. However they kept charging us for two months afterit was canceled. We end up calling the bank to receive the charges. The bank told us if they did it again to press criminal charges.

      Sun Life customer service is atrocious. I used their online platform to request information about my medical coverage. A Sun Life representative emailed me and did not provide the information, but rather requested that I call her. I then tried calling her on two separate occasions, leaving phone messages. No response. I also tried to email her. Again no response. Clearly the exact opposite of "customer service".

      Sunlife always asks me to rate the service providers I use so it’s time to rate them….and they are not fairing well. I have been dealing for months with a benefit payment isssue. After 3 escalations I had to get 3rd party advisor involved and again too much time passing because they don’t know how to correct their own error! I guess I should have read the other reviews before making the worst decision I have made to date in my retirement.

      We are changing our coverage. I have been on the phone 4 times within the last 10 days. No satisfaction whatsoever. One customer service rep (his name was Chris) even asked how old I was, well into our conversation. I think he decided I did not know how to use a computer or ******, probably because of my age. I am 72 YO and a Professor *******. I have written 2 books, including an e-book. I know how to use a computer. Today, I was given the opportunity on their APP, to provide feedback. I was not even able to accomplish working through that.
      I have lost several hours of my life in the last 10 days over this and I am definitely ready to cancel my coverage (which is almost $400/month). * ****** ****** **** ***** * ****** * **** ******* *** *** **** ** ***** ********* * ** *** ****** ** **** **** *** ****!
