I gave them one star only because the installer was a nice guy. Door is ice blue instead of white. And they are arguing w me. Sales rep came over and agreed . social media posts also concur. Door was suppose to match all other window trim whether its cool soft warm .whatever. It does NOT match at all. Its been called ice blue ..robins egg blue..winter.blue..everyone that sees if calls it a blue. I waited 10 months for my door. No complaint..i waited patiently. In Jan they installed and agreed to paint it in 4 to 6 weeks ( because it was cold out???. They were to paint the inside only. I will paint outside a totally different color). Its mid May. Terrible. They told my lawyer it costs them **** to paint it. Cut me a check and ill deal with it. They also forgot peephole which is a safety issue. I was prepared to accept that. Not anymore. That alone is reason enough for a refund.They said they were trying to find a painter...and they would get back to me in 48 hours. That was 7 days ago. Good luck .Verdun Windows and Doors

Hi Mo, thank you for acknowledging our installer for his work and friendly demeanor.We have provided you with a Polytex White entry door inside and out as this was what was ordered and contracted. This is the industry standard, unpainted white colour that doors are manufactured in when no additional paint option is selected. You are accepting this for the exterior of your door but not the interior despite the fact that they are the same colour, which again is the colour you have signed and agreed to pay for. Further to this your interior wall, right next to the door is blue, which can certainly impart some of it's colour characteristic onto surrounding surfaces such as your door but does not change it's actual colour.We provide primed but unpainted trim for windows and doors and therefore do not guarantee or even suggest that there will be a match, this is clearly communicated in the contract.Despite all of this, we have offered to reorder the door in the interior colour of your choosing OR provide a credit to cover the costs of having the door painted yourself. We acknowledge that these offers did not come as quickly as you would have hoped and that we explored other options which prolonged the situation. These offers remain and we are awaiting your decision on how to proceed.We are hopeful that you will let us know shortly so we can proceed and bring this to a resolution.Review fromLinda L

After having my windows put in and then having ***** come to adjust for some small issues, I will say I am completely satisfied with Verdun's service and product. Every person I have dealt with was professional and courteous. The installers were great and took all their mess with them. I absolutely love my new windows. My old ones were wood and this whole new system moves like butta! I used Verdun because my next door neighbours were so happy with them and now I have to say I am really happy too! In the last 5 years we have purchased 14 new windows and an entrance door from Verdun. We are pleased with the windows. On the other hand the entrance door is a different story. It had to be re-installed and the flashing around it keeps popping out since the day of the installation. The service department came today and put a s**** in the flashing and covered it with cocking. At the installation time payment in cash/cheque is required. They are certainly quicker to cash the cheque than to provide service. We have a question for the installation manager. Would you be happy if you bought a new car and the fender fell off and they screwed it back on?Verdun Windows and Doors

As has previously been explained the reason the flashing keeps popping out is because there was no s**** installed initially, the s**** is necessary to keep everything in place. We acknowledge that this was a mistake and that further follow up is required to finish the door to our standard and your satisfaction. This was the second and final installation of windows in our home by Verdun. The first time we took bids for the work, but this time we simply called them as they had done such a good job initially. This time some of the windows needed adjusting and that was completed today.We are well satisfied both with the quality of the windows and particularly with the friendly and very professional installations carried out by their staff.Verdun Windows and Doors
