      ******** ***** ********* ******** My vehicle was vandalized on Sept 9 2025.
      Vehicle had damaged windshield hood emblem grill side of the car back of the car. Pretty much basicly all around. I was told buy two body shop vehicle has to be painted and damage is exceeded more then 10 000$ intact insurance came up with only fix nothing replaced and somehow got an esstimate of 4600$. The vehicle had no oil leakage before the incident as I was told the manifold is leaking and was damaged due to vandalism he said that is to fix 3800$ extra. This is a 2012 ******** **** ****** diesel with 215000 km. Never seen winter. Now its November 21st after 1.5 month took intact to have their estimator go esstimate the damage. Coming up with some 4100$ original esstimate after I was told buy their body shop manager vehicle has lots of damaged and should be a right off. Now after 3.5 months intact is offering me a cash out of 3100$ this is beyond rediculess. But mean while I am paying insurance still 320$ a month and my car still at shop not getting fixed and I payed now 4th month so its beyond rediculness. due to Intact sending appraisal 1.5 months after the accident. **** ** *** *** ***** ** ********* ******** ** ***** *** * ******** I need someone to help me because **** ** *** **** ***** *** **** they make you feel like you gave to beg them to do their job.

      repairs.  The repair cheque was issued directly to the insured on November
      25,2025 to pay the body shop once repairs have been completed to their
      satisfaction.

      ***** *** ********* * **** *** ***** My car was hit in the bumper, by contractor backing into niebours driveway to fast, hitting my car , parked in my driveway, July 24th 2005 it's now Nov. 19th, I paid for rental and full coverage, I recieved only grief . They refuse to fix all damages, exhaust pipe was snaped in half, heat plate ripped through from broken exhaust pipe, trunk won't open anymore, they refuse to fix it, yet it's caused by the accident. Call claims adjuster, can't here or understand a word she is saying, so getting frustrated * ***** *** *** ****** **** ****** ******** ** **** ************ ***** *** **** * ****** *** ** ******** * **** ***** *** **** *** ***** **** **** * **** ****** ***** ******* ***** ** ****** ***** *** ****** *** **** ***** *********

      I recently switched vehicle and home insurance companys from Intact Insurance to *** ******** which requires verification of coverage in the form of a letter from Intact. As I was insured with Intact for more than 11 years I was entitled to a significant discount from *** ********. The problem is its been several weeks and Intact is ignoring my requests for that verification.

      We can confirm that we responded directly to the client
      regarding their complaint submitted on October 6th, 2025.  We
      have addressed their concerns by providing the requested Letter of Experience
      on October 10th, 2025, and have apologized for the delay in response
      from both their broker and Intact Insurance. 



      We have also assured the client that we are committed to
      improving communication timelines to prevent similar delays in the
      future.  We now consider this complaint closed on our end.  Should the
      client require any additional information of documentation, please contact us
      directly.

      **** *** ***** ** **** ***** ** **** ****** ******* ** ********* * ****** Have an issue with our drain, plumbers came and saw 3 cracks and and corrosion in the pipes outside and a bit of corrosian inside. Intact claims (after reviewing the vieo of the pipes) that it is impossible to have 3 cracks in the pipes outside and that there is no issue inside. They sent their own plumber to disprove what the other plumbers saw. Their plumbers ended up seeing the same issues outside, as the intact had already deamed that inside was fine they didnt bother have their plumbers check. Once they review and saw that outside would cost more they came back and said my issue is 1 feet away from the toilet even though we had several plumbers pointing at the shift outside and the rocks coming into the pipes. It is a mess *** ***** **** * ***** **** *** ******* **** **** **** * ******* ** ***** ** ***** **** ** ***** **** ** ***** **** ******* **** **** ****** *** **** ****** ***** *** ** **** *** **** **** ******* ********* **** ****** **** **** ** ****

      We have informed the client via email about the reason for the non-renewal and advised her to contact her brokerage to provide the necessary information for a comprehensive risk assessment. The broker left a message on August 20th and indicated on August 21st that they would make another attempt to reach her that day.

      Customer concerns are important to us.

                      In that regard, the client dissatisfaction had already been addressed in accordance with our Complaint Handling Protocol and the client received the final decision of the insurer.

                      However, a Unit Claims Manager (UCM) contacted again the client to discuss the matter and explained the decision concerning the cause of the peril.

      We understand that the client is still unsatisfied with the decision concerning the cause of the peril, unfortunately the insurer already reviewed the matter.

                      As the claim adjuster presented the settlement to the client and was waiting for the client’s response, the UCM invited the client to contact the claim adjuster to do the payment and complete the claim.

      Over 20 years and multi vehicles, they just stated our insurance is done, next month. We own the car, we pay the insurance, my daughter is using the car for school and is in Hamilton, she only has till mid next month and will be back home but because she has a different address we are being dropped. That's 5 cars. ** *** *** *****

      After 40 years with zero claims, had to call Intact in response to a false claim by a neighbour of damage to their property. Told by Intact not to give other parties my information. Called Intact only for information, not to start a claim. Made it clear we didn't want to start a claim and have rates go up as we were not yet deemed responsible. I'm in B.C. Got transferred to someone in Alberta who asked for story and evidence, but did nothing, told us to wait. When original Alberta representative was gone, dealt with another Albertan who was extraordinarily unprofessional. Kept ************ demanding claim number, with ********* ***** tone throughout entire conversation that could be heard in other room. We said we don't have one, no open claim. ******** ******* ** ****** ******* ******* *** ******* **** ***** ********* continually ******* demanding nonexistent claim number. We told her original Alberta employee's name incase that helped her figure things out. Second Alberta said that that woman is a manager, and she was absolutely not who we dealt with, effectively calling us *****. **** *** ****** **** *** **** ***** ** **** 
      Never opened claim, dispute settled. Next Intact bill raised our rates because of our supposed "claim", which we told four employees in two provinces we didn't want. Intact did NOTHING for us. ********* ********* * ******* **** **** ****** ** ******** ****** *** ** (it went to online court) and all Intact had ever said was, don't give them your info and come open a claim if they find you at fault. A complete joke to say we had a claim and raise our rates. Upon further inspection, found a "claim" on our account from 2006 that never happened. ******** ****** ** ***** **** *** **** *********** **** ****** **** *** ****** ********** ******** ***** ********** ************ Switched companies the second my policy expired, will surely warn others against Intact.

      Been with this company over 30 years. Did not have a claim until my husband and I were hit as pedestrian by a car. What a horrible nightmare they put us through. Not enough space to describe the pain and ******* that we are still experiencing. Unprofessional unreliable no compassion dismissive and unresponsive. 5 adjusters to date. ** ******* ********* ***** ****** and lawyer now dealing with this **** *** ******* company

      Our Unit Claims Manager had discussion with the customer’s
      legal representative on July 21. It was explained that there are many reasons
      why adjusters are changed, there is no guarantee that a file will remain with
      one adjuster for the entire life of the claim.  The adjuster will
      prioritize file review and action accordingly.  ***** expense claim form
      for May has not been received by our office, the legal representative will
      submit. We have confirmed all forms received have been responded to.  The
      customer’s lawyer was notified Insurer’s Examinations are part of the claims
      process and required from time to time, we will conduct only when
      necessary.  The lawyer has agreed to work with the customer when
      attendance is required. Customers concerns have been addressed, and claim is
      moving forward.

      **** * **** ** ** **** ** * ******* I have had the worst experience with the handling of my insurance claim through Intact. My vehicle was moved from the repair shop to the wreckers without my consent, my knowledge or any attempt to inform me of what was going on. I only found out that it was moved when I reached out to the repair shop on a time line on when the vehicle would be fixed. I have had to spend the better part of a day tracking down the vehicle, confirming its location and attempting to get answers. Every time I contacted Intact today and spoke to a different person I received different answers. This has been the most stressful, frustrating experience *** * ****** ********* ******** ****** **********

      On July 7, 2025, the Unit Claims Manager (UCM) contacted the insured to discuss their concerns. The UCM apologized for the confusion and their experience. The UCM confirmed they arranged to tow the trailer back to their location at Intact’s cost. The insured was also offered to retain salvage as an alternative to a total loss, so that the vehicle can be repaired. The adjuster is actively working on finalizing the claim.

      ** ** ***** ** ** *** while at a red light I was rear ended on a very busy road in the Toronto area. Having this been the first time anything like this has ever happened to me - I needed some support and guidance through the process. Intact **** ******** ********* ** ** *** because I reported the stereo “fuzzy” rather than climbing on the roof to immediately report the antenna was missing (thrown off from impact) they have failed to address the issue. Despite a letter from a professional engineer and the shops professional opinion they maintain that * ** ***** *** it isn’t possible. They fail to reply to emails, and have horrible customer service. Truly can’t comprehend *** **** *** ******* ** **** * ***** ************ ****** with 0 claims in 10 years over a $600 antenna replacement. Beyond frustrating experience. Even when speaking to the manager, he speaks over you, ***** *** * **** & fails to address any concern.

      The team *** ********* **** *** did not hear any concerns. They negated to review their findings despite having a professional engineer explain the basics to them. They took days to respond to an email or call, and refuse to facilitate the appropriate conversations. I would not recommend them to anyone.

      * **** * ***** **** * ****** **** ** ** *** *** ***** ******* * **** **** *** ** **** ***** I have been trying to cancel the policy for months, and they continue to withdraw twice as much as what my policy amount is. They cannot tell me why the amount is twice as much, and refuse to send me the form to cancel the policy. I call multiple times a week trying to resovle this but end just being put on hold for extended periods of time, or just passed between departments that cant help me. I have emails from them stating they would cancel the policy as of a certain date if I send them the form back, but they won't send me the form. ********** ********* **** ** *** **** **** **** ******* ** *********

      Multiple contact attempts have been made in an effort to address our customer’s concerns; however, we have not received a reply. A review of the file shows that the broker has cancelled the policy, but we would be happy to discuss the matter further should the customer not be satisfied with this resolution.
