Ever since drop changed how you can redeem points has been awful. I had claimed gift cards before
They switched and my cards were never give to me but they credited my account.

Dear BBB
For about 3 months now I have been trying to redeem a gift card using the concerned businesses' app as soon as it turn to be 10 a.m. Pacific on Thu. However each time since last 3 months, I have been unsuccessful to redeem any gift card.
Whenever I contact their customer service, they keep on suggesting to try again next time without providing any resolution.
They keep on repeating the same information without providing any resolution. It starting to feel like this all is a farce and they actually don't provide any gift cards whatsoever.
I would appreciate if BBB can take cognizance of this ongoing issue with their commitment to provide an option to redeem gift cards.
I hope the Business comes up with a resolution and not keep on repeating false promises.

I've looked into your Drop account and was not able to find anything that would prevent you from being able to redeem your points. This is good news!
For the next gift card drop, we recommend doing the following:
1. Please ensure that you are not opening the app more than 10 minutes before the gift card drop. Please refer to attachment 1 in this email -- this screenshot shows you what you should be seeing before the gift card Drop occurs.
2. If you do open the app and receive a notification that prompts you to update the app before redeeming, please fully close the Drop app and reopen it. This should take you to the appropriate waiting room screen.
3. Please refer to attachment 2 to see what the gift card Drop experience looks like. Please make sure you are seeing this screen after being let out of the waiting room!
Please note that the only way you can redeem is if your screen looks like what you see in attachment 2.

I earned points through the app and was promised gift cards in exchange for sharing shopping/ credit card data and entering surveys. I have been attempting to secure my payment since last year.

This is a business that has an app to collect our name, gender, date of birth, email, credit card info, transactions, vendors, purchase amount and purchase dates to acquire points and redeem them for gift cards.
I have had enough points for a while to redeem giftcards, however they are not allowing me. It is always "sold out" and we have to redeem it at a certain time. This business runs the Drop app. You link credit cards to the app and get points when you shop. They used to give gift cards for those points. For the past year or so, they collect the points and do not give gift cards. I have been a drop member since 2019. But for over 1 year(since early 2023) they are not paying *** ******** in exchange of our personal information and activity. Drop is a company that helps you earn rewards points for shopping through their interface. You can link credit cards and automatically receive points for qualified purchases or click to shop through the link in their app and receive rewards points that way. Once you have enough points, you can redeem for a gift card. I have had $100 worth of points for months but drop has updated their model to only be able to request a gift card on Thursdays at noon instead anytime as advertised when I signed up. I log on every Thursday at noon, click the link, and the app spins and crashes with a message that there are no more gift cards available and to try next week. I have been experiencing this problem every week for months, unable to redeem a single gift card.
