I had spent $28k on replacing all windows i. Mu house over 15 years ago with a lifetime guarantee. In Sept 2024 I put in a warranty repair request for 2 windows. One had the seal broken between 2 panes of glass and another haf a crank and seal issue. After following up 6+ times they sent a tech out in Jan 2025 to measure encasements and said it will take 3 weeks to come in. I have since emailed a dozen times and called then and left voice message 6 times and opened another service request and no answer. I feel this company has dropped off the face of the earth or are ghosting us.Initial Complaint

Feb. 14/25 Contract signed full amount $ 11,682.00
May 2/25 Installation began
May 3/25 Installation finished, screens and parts missing
May 3/25 Payment #1 $3,000.00
May 5/25 Payment #2 $3,000.00
May 5/25 - Landmark advised-screens still being assembled for the windows and should be ready within 4-5 days.
May 21/25 - Payment #3 $3,000.00
I notified installer on May 21/25 that kitchen windows fogging in the right corners of both windows, bathroom window not closing properly, company attempted repair of bathroom window, only to create more issues, a secondary contractor inspected the bathroom window and advised parts are missing and the company needs to install parts and repair as required. Kitchen windows are still missing parts, as is the bathroom window, the master bedroom window frame has gaps that need to be plugged, the holes allow for insects to enter home. The screen for the master window was installed with a bow/bend in it, I informed the company that the screen was bowed, I also informed the company that parts were missing and fogging of windows. Upon inspection of all newly installed windows the plugs are missing in all windows. In June I placed a call to the BBB and was provided with an alternate number as too many calls had been ignored and no response from anyone. I contacted the company at the newly acquired #, the lady asked where I found the number and I advised from the BBB. As of the end of June there has been no contact or scheduling for parts and repairs. The customer was informed that there was improper insulation installed with kitchen windows and this would be rectified when they arrived with all and parts to repair and finish the job.
I would like the job completed as per contract. I have been very patient and need the proper parts installed. I have held back a portion owed awaiting the final visit to complete all deficiencies. I have been waiting 2.5 months for the contracted work to be completed.Initial Complaint

Windows were installed in 2019, and in the summer of 2024, our window washer reported that the frame of the north window was cracked. We contacted Land****, and they sent their top installer, ****, to inspect. He indicated that it was a framing failure, and a schedule was later sent for replacement on warranty. They missed the first date, then claimed that the replacement was received broken a month or two later. After November, no one would respond to inquiries and the email went dark. I finally managed to correspond with a woman named *******, who assured me that all was well, but they were "busy". Then she went dark. I finally advised that I was taking the claim to small claims court, and sent it to the president, Mr. *****, the general manager Mr. *****, and the lady *******. No reply was received, and I am now about to file the claim for breach of warranty.Initial Complaint

On October 4, 2022, I placed an order with Landmark Home Solutions totalling $28,000 for the supply and installation of windows and doors. I chose your company specifically for the advertised lifetime warranty on both parts and labour.
I am now formally filing a complaint regarding a breach of that contract. Since April 2025, I have made numerous attempts—via phone, email, and online service requests—to request service under your warranty. This includes at LEAST 20 voicemails, all of which have gone unanswered. The only contact was a missed call on April 29 with no voicemail and no subsequent follow-up. I have tried every outlet to contact you, every social media, online platform, email, everything and NOTHING. I cannot leave a voicemail anymore not that it matters since you don't return them, but this behaviour is nothing short of *****, **** **********.
Your warranty clearly states lifetime coverage for defects in materials and workmanship, including labour, glass seals, frames, hardware, and screens. Yet we are experiencing issues with two windows—one in our ensuite bathroom and one in our child’s bedroom—which remain unresolved despite extensive outreach.
This lack of response and failure to honour your warranty obligations constitutes a clear breach of contract. I expect Landmark Home Solutions to uphold the commitments made at the time of purchase and restore SOME trust in your service.Initial Complaint

Windows were installed end of November 2024 by Landmark. I used my crank window for the first time a couple of weeks ago. It cranked open, but will not crank closed. Need a repairing here asap. I have phoned the office many times in the last two weeks but always get voice mail. I leave m my name and describe my issue but no one will return my calls. Last week I even called the salesman I dealt with and called him (at his own number). He told me he would contact Landmark. Still no phone call.Initial Complaint

I hired Landmark Home Solutions for a full window replacement project at my home, with a total cost of approximately $32,000. One of the newly installed windows is defective — it does not close properly and remains open, creating both a security and weather concern.
This issue is clearly covered under the company’s Lifetime Warranty on hardware and moving parts, which states:
“For as long as you own your Landmark window, Landmark warrants the hardware and moving parts of its Landmark window against breakage, cracking or other failure.”
I submitted my first service request in April 2025, followed by a second request in May 2025 using the company’s online form. I also sent direct emails to the company manager, service manager, and customer service team — with no response whatsoever.
It is extremely frustrating and unprofessional to be ignored after investing over $30,000 in this project. I am requesting immediate action to repair or replace the defective window in accordance with the warranty, and a timely, professional response from the company.Initial Complaint

We spent $52,000 buying all new windows for our home. This spring we went to put in our patio screen and it was 2 inches too short. I contacted the installer on April 3rd and April 15th, he said he had some in his garage and he has never come back to install it. On May 14th, he asked me to send an email to him and **** *****, who looks over the production, and emailed him again on May 27th. I contacted the salesman, emailed him on the May 27th and no answer. I have called them a couple times and left messages and no one has contacted me back.
I want the right screen for the patio installed.Initial Complaint

Contract to install 2 new exterior doors signed with salesman ******* ** ****, Nov 26, 2024.
2 doors installed March 10-11, 2025. Cost was $9300.
A few weeks later the back door had caulking separating plus leaking around the door windows. It also wasn't closing properly and rubbing in the top corner. The sweep portion at the bottom of the door was separating from the door. The front door now won't latch properly and has blown open a few times if we don't lock it.
Warranty claim submitted to the link they provided sometime around April 2, 2025. No reply. Emailed ****** ****, who the warranty email came from on Apr 16, no reply. Emailed 5 people from Landmark Apr 24 plus submitted the same online warranty claim, no reply. I called 4 different people at Landmark at this time and left voicemails. No reply.
I finally connected on May 2 with a helpful person named *****, who I believe is a subcontractor installer for Landmark. On May 6, ***** emailed ****** *********; **** ***** ; ******* **** to see if she could get a reply. She included photos and the scenario. No reply.
I replied all May 10 & 15 and still had no reply.
Warranty states:
Landmark warrants that all Landmark products installed, shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship, for the life of the product, or for as long as the original owner continues to be the registered owner of the premises in which they were installed.
OTHER
Weather-stripping and sweeps may become worn over time. Loose or worn weather-strips should be replaced. Landmark will ship these parts for up to 5 years at no charge. A clear coat should be applied to stained fiberglass doors every two years to maintain its “richness”.
There is an exclusion about caulking, however I feel like it should last more than 2 weeks after installation to prevent water seepage/damage.

We have the following issues at the home where windows need repair work see below.
Outstanding from Fall 2024, no calls back for service after being told they would come.
The concerns raised by the ********* are as listed below:
• The living room window frame has sagged in the center, resulting in a noticeable bowing of the casing\frame.
• The casings around all other windows require further attention and repair due to substandard finishing.
o This was also flagged by your installer, during one of his visits to the home to complete work.
• The front door weatherstripping was improperly cut too short, allowing daylight and air infiltration into the home.
• The front door also requires touch-up work to address visible imperfections.Initial Complaint
