I took my truck to have drivers and passengers rockers and drivers door repaired for rust. I provided OE rocker panel for drivers side. I dropped it off on may 30th and picked it up on June 3rd. As soon as I picked it up I noticed paint runs, overspray inside and outside, and clumps of bondo. I took the pictures the following day and found more horrible work. Including the paper shipping label painted over on the underside of the rocker panel. This when that label gets wet and falls off. I’ll have a patch of bare metal exposed to the elements and ruin a brand new rocker panel. I brought these issues up to the owner with a quote for the local ford dealership with or part numbers and the plastics that were ruined by overspray. I stated I only wanted that portion of money back to cover the ruined pieces. The labourer then came out and said they weren’t going to fix anything and I was bitching about nothing. I told him the trust has been lost and I wouldn’t not let them touch my truck again. I just wanted the $500 refunded for plastics off of my $1880 bill. I was told that’s not going to happen. I then went back a few days later and requested a copy of my bill and was told because I did a cash deal I don’t get a copy, and was told I was bitching about that to. I ended up taking a photo of my bill as they would not release it to me. I am hoping to get some money refunded out of the High school level job that was performed from a professional body shop, because of the quality of work but also having a middle aged man belittle a 27 year old man in the parking lot infront of other customers.
