    *** ****** (Treasurer, The Grimsby Pipe Band) placed an order on March 12, 2025 to McCarthy Highland Services for a set of Twisted Thistle Medalist Bass Mallets made by **** **** at a cost of $215.69. To date we have not received this order. We are requesting a refund for the payment made. A copy of the purchase receipt is attached.*** tried contacting the company for an update at least 3 times, leaving at least 2 messages, but has had no response. We sent a registered letter (copy attached) to the company on July 3, 2025 requesting a refund, but have had no response.

    the items that were not sent previously (Bass Drum Sticks) were delivered to the home of the Pipe Major at *************************************************************'s via courier.

    The problem is now resolved.

    placed an order with this company on July 6th, 2023, totaling $311.45. i have attempted getting in contact with them dozens of times since placing the order (on his website "contact us" section, by email, on ********* and multiple calls), and have either been outright ignored, or told that they "were looking into it" and never getting any other response. i have yet to receive the items i ordered, or a refund. for the calls, i can only find evidence of 3 calls i made, all of which went to voicemail and never received a response. i had also called a few times from my work phone, but unfortunately cannot pull the call records from that phone.

    Purchased 2 sets of drumsticks online on April 15th at a cost of $25.00 each. With shipping total cost of $81.30.Received email on May 1st advising they were being shipped the next day.After several emails now May 23rd and nothing received and no replies.

    Placed an order with the company online on september 25,2023 for ****** for priority overnight shipping. I recieved confirmation of order and payment was taken from my credit card on that date. Items have never arrived. I have made multiple attempts to contact through email, phone and ******** messages. I was finally successful at getting an answer on October 16 after calling multiple times back to back to be told that they would take care of it immediately and that i would recieve shipping confirmation by end of day. That has not happened. Again i have continued to reach out with no response. I have requested a refund through both email and phone message. No response and no refund has been issued. At this point i believe i have been scammed by this individual and will be reporting it to the authorities as well.
