  I was genuinely excited to enroll in QC Career School’s Wedding & Event Coordinator program, which I began on June 30, 2025. A major reason I chose this program was its self-paced structure—something especially important to me as I balance mental health challenges, including anxiety and ADHD. Unfortunately, I soon realized that the program isn’t truly self-paced. While I could read the material on my own time, I was required to wait for each assignment to be graded before accessing the next—sometimes up to 48 hours or more. This controlled pacing doesn’t reflect the freedom implied by “self-paced.”
  This structure became mentally exhausting. Being forced to wait disrupted my momentum and made it harder to retain information. For someone neurodivergent, having to re-read entire units after a delay just to complete an assignment felt overwhelming and counterproductive.
  When I contacted ***** from the support team to explain my situation and learning needs, I felt completely dismissed. There was no acknowledgment of my concerns, and the advice given—simply re-read and wait—was not helpful or supportive. During this time, I was also dealing with a personal crisis: my daughter was hospitalized. I still pushed forward and read through most of the program content within a few days. But I couldn’t proceed with the actual coursework because of the grading restrictions. I asked if my assignments could be unlocked so I could move ahead and come back for feedback later, but that request was denied.
  Ultimately, I withdrew, feeling deeply unfulfilled. I gained valuable knowledge, but I couldn’t complete the program—leaving me with a sense of failure. If QC insists on maintaining this structure, they should stop marketing it as self-paced. Feedback is valuable—but it shouldn’t be a barrier to progress. I hope QC reconsiders its approach, or at the very least, its messaging—for the sake of future students with alternative learning needs.

  You brought up some very important points, especially around the definition of “self-paced” and how the grading structure may feel at odds with that, particularly for students who thrive with continuous momentum. We have always considered our program to be self-paced because there are no due dates associated with our assignments, and students can set their own schedule in that regard, but I completely understand that this structure does not work for everyone. I also want to acknowledge the effort and dedication you put into the course.
  While I’m sorry we couldn’t make the program work better for you in this instance, I’m grateful for the way you shared your perspective and we are taking it to heart. Wishing you all the very best. I have no doubt that you’ll make a meaningful impact wherever you go.

  Attending @qceventschool has been a great experience for me. The coursework allows me the freedom to learn at my own pace and inspiration to step outside of the box in more ways than one. Recent, I planned a small game night for the Father's. It was their day, and it was what they wanted. We had a ball!Planning get togethers, making and sharing desserts (Can you say TeesTreats!) is slowly becoming something that I really enjoy. I love to host and take care of all of the "little" BIG things that need to be done to make your event a success.That's why I'm here now. ??Side note- Even though my balloon Stand didn't arrive on time (AMAZON ??), I didn't let it ruin the day. I had to pivot and improvise on the spot with my moms flower stand. That's one of the things that I am learning event planners must do!! Looking forward to learning more in the course!

  The Corporate Event planning course was very inciteful and worth the money and time spent. I had also signed up for the Festivals and Concert course, but I didn't finish in the time allowed. QC did honour the Corporate Event course and allowed me to finish, as I only had one section to complete. I am a little disappointed that I didn't look closely at the time constraint, my fault. QC has offered a discount to continue.I stopped the course through Covid, as I am an interior designer and the industry exploded, this made it challenging to keep up. I recommend QC.

  ****** was an amazing support specialist. She helped me enroll in my course, and I'm so very excited to get started. I've used QC Design School previously, and their courses are wonderful. If you're tired of working the standard 8 to 5 job, they may have an exciting course to help you get out of that rut. Check them out.

  I had a great experience at QC Design School! I would highly recommend this school to anyone looking to pursue a career through online learning. The staff is professional, friendly and helpful.   The courses are fantastic. The curriculum is geared more towards practical application in real world scenarios. The audio feedback from the Tudor is very insightful and gives knowledge and experience towards the "dos and don't" of design applications.

  QC design school offered much more than what I thought I would be learning . I never thought I would learn how to draw scaled floor plans . They offered education in designing and decorating as well as lighting and using a architect ruler
