I contacted QC school and told them I was changing career paths and wanted to withdrawal from classes because I THOUGHT I had signed up for a 90 day trial. They advertise as a 90 day trial but actually are just scammers. I believed I was within the **************************************************** that I was not and would have to pay 200 something dollars to withdrawal. I told them I could not at the time and that they would put my account on hold until I had the money to do so. I am on vacation and received 2 charges on my account, ****** and *****, stealing my birthday money from me. I never told them I was able to pay yet. And I believe when I first tried to withdrawal they were scamming me and wouldnt just let me withdrawal even though I had only done maybe an hour of the courses and was within 90 days. I need my money back. I am on vacation with my parents and I have no idea why they just cleared my bank account out. Their communication has been poor and I have quite literally been robbed. I paid 200 dollars for what I thought was a 90 day trial of classes and they are falsely advertising what they actually are going to do to people. I want at the very least my $200 back but they said 90 days and get your money back if you change your mind so I should really get my $400 back that Ive paid.

    Dear Kaitlynn,

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you had a negative experience and would like to clarify the situation based on our records and policies.

QC Pet Studies offers a 21-day money-back guarantee. This is detailed both on our website and in the enrollment agreement that was sent to you by email on January 23, 2024. Your request to withdraw was made on February 23, 2024, which was beyond our 21-day review period.

At the time of your request, we provided several options to support you, including lowering your monthly payments, placing your account on hold for three months, or proceeding with a withdrawal. You chose to defer your payments, stating in your email, A 3-month deferral would be SO HELPFUL and would allow me to stay enrolled!.

We processed your request and deferred your next payment to May 23, 2024. During this deferral, you retained access to course materials but could not submit work. It is important to note that you were enrolled in both the Dog Grooming and Dog Training courses. After the initial deposit of $99 per course was paid, you made only one monthly installment for each course despite being enrolled for 6 months.

On May 23rd, we attempted to process the payment as agreed, but it was unsuccessful. A follow-up attempt in June also failed. The payment was successfully processed in July. Your communication with us in July was the first we received from you since February, despite our follow-up emails regarding the missed payments.

Upon receiving your concern on July 23rd, we immediately refunded the payments processed in July on the same day. We also placed your account on hold to ********************** any further charges. This means that the only payment currently on your account is the initial deposit of $99 per course; all other monthly installments were either never received or refunded.

We strive to provide flexible solutions and clear communication to our students. We appreciate your feedback and encourage you to contact us directly if you wish to discuss this matter further.

    Sincerely,
    The QC Pet Studies Team
