Paid extra for a package only to get a noisy room in a bad resort with the worst beach of ***** *** ******.
Could not reach Customer Service despite multiple calls. The representative onsite was *******. The only way to reach them is via an online form, and got an answer after two months... From a « do not reply » address.

Sold me a travel package with accommodations so ********** that I had to book an ****** upon arrival at my own expense. Was given the wrong address and the hotel demanded an extra $280 usd for fees that were clearly outlined as included in my paperwork. Air Canada Vacations and ********* *** ***** ****** were both totally unsympathetic and said " non-refundable ". I would have thought Air Canada Vacations would have standards to adhere to. Including no bedbugs and cockroaches.

We flew to Cancun airport in January 2025 on our way to the ** ****** ****** resort with Air Canada Vacations. After a good flight, we all had to wait two hours at the airport before they started unloading the luggage from the plane. No one at the airport could tell us what was going on or why there were no baggage handlers.
Then we headed outside and waited two more hours while the Air Canada reps told us that the transfer we had paid for in our package with them would be provided by another company, who were not answering their phone and therefore were not sending anyone to pick us up.
So we stood outdoors, without so much as a bench to sit on, for two hours. The reps tried to convince us to pay $250 US for a taxi to take us the half hour drive to the resort, and said that the other company would reimburse us (yeah, right!) but refused to take any responsibility for us or pay for the taxi themselves. Finally at 1 am, when we were the last people left at the airport that night and all other transport had left, they put us into a van and sent us on our way.
      ** *** *** ***** **** ******* ** *** ** ** ******** **** ****** ** *** **** *** *** ***** ****** ******* They have so far decided to ignore our complaints, and they have had three months in which to reply to them.
We will never want to book with Air Canada Vacations again.

** *** *** **** ******** ******** Customer service is horrible. The only answer you get is unfortunately this is outside our terms and conditions. It does not matter how small or trivial the request is. I made a mistake on the booking by one day. Unfortunately I booked inside of 20 days. I called the hotel, they had no problem with arriving a day early, I called air Canada they had no problem with changing the flight. I understand this was my fault, I am living with it. However, the two gentlemen that I spoke too, basically told me to *** ******* and that a manager would be of no help.

I have booked a vacation dept from *** 04/18/25 to Nassau for 4 passengers. I booked this vacation 03/17/25. As of April 3rd, one of the passengers is unable to make it due to unforeseen circumstances. I called into Air Canada Vacations to be told this trip was non refundable but I had another passenger willing to take fill this spot so I was able to change the name on the ticket for a fee of $300. I paid the fee. I gave the AC rep all the information of the new passenger, full name & DOB. I paid the $300 on my ** all within a matter of the first 10 min of the call. He then says he has to put me on hold - I was on hold for 20 min (I had an appointment and had to drive to another destination which took 20 min) - he then comes back to tell me that "the change cannot be made, the system will not allow the change because the hotel will not allow the change." I called the hotel - the new person most certainly can be part of the party if checking in under the original reservation.. Flights are changed ALL the time!!!!. I booked two rooms, 4 passenger flights, this costed $14,000. ** ** * **** *** *** *********** *** ** ********* * ********** **** **** *** ** ********* This is my first booking with Air Canada Vacations and it will be my LAST. * **** **** **** *** **** ****** ***** *** poor customer service Air Canada has provided. Not to mention * *** *** **** ** ******* *** ** ******* ***** ** **** the AC rep was accommodating at first then turned very **** and ********. This is unacceptable and even more ********** to tell me that it was the hotel and that I would need a new room rate. Why do I need a new room rate?? I had 4 passengers originally scheduled and I have 4 still willing to go. One passenger who cancelled was 18 years old, the passenger taking his place is 15. It is a family resort, 15 is no issue. He is not checking in on his own, both rooms are double occupancy, what is the issue?? DO BETTER AIR CANADA - ***** *** *** **** ** ** ** *** **** ***

We have travelled to Mexico to stay at a 5 star hotel through ACV and have never been more disappointed. We stayed at the ****** *** ***** & wellness resort. We arrived through AC arranged transportation with a driver who had no idea where the resort was located, nor the resort for other passengers in the van. We arrived to a near deserted desk with no welcome drink or towel as advertised. We are disappointed with the tired appearance of the accommodations, the beach chairs of inferior quality, the cabanas with unsightly covers and no tables to lay a drink or food. The staff are lovely but smiles only go so far. The food is the worst we have experienced in all of our many travels. *** ****** ********* ****** ** ******* ** ******* **** ** * **** **** ****** * ** ****** ***** ******  The gym facilities are minimal, old, and not worthy of 5 star. The spa is “under construction” and when we tried to book, we were told many facilities were not available……
The advertisement refers to 24 hr room service with no information available in the room on how to order and what the menu consisted of. We received an email 4 days into our trip advising us of a voucher to use towards an excursion which seemed quite late for notification.
Overall incredibly disappointed that we placed our trust in ACV to provide a five star experience which was far below standard. We hope the driver going back is better equipped for navigation.
The value for dollar for this vacation is one that we would NEVER recommend. We would welcome a call from ACV to discuss further - the booking number is ********. We are still here and while the weather is amazing, we paid far too much money to be in this resort with this lack of quality. Always happy to pay for what we get - and this resort lacks much. Take this off the five star list.
      Two very disappointed customers

Air Canada Vacations left my family stranded in Toronto. Our flight **** from Toronto to Vancouver was cancelled. My son and I had to book on another carrier as we couldn't get ahold of anyone to help us. My wife and daughter were able to get through 2 days later and get a flight back to Vancouver. They slept in the airport for 2 days. No refunds or assistance throughout this issue. I asked to be refunded for the 2 flights we couldn't use and they refused siting an issue beyond their control. I called Air Canada and they said we should at least be credited for the unused flight. ** *** **** **** *** ******* ********** No customer service, no travel support. **** *** ******** ** **** **** ** ********* **** ******

On June 17, 2024, I purchased a trip for two to Curacao with Air Canada Vacations. The one week trip was scheduled for April 2025. ** * ****** **** ** ******* *** ** ** ******** ********* *** *** ***** * ****** ******* there are many details that must be carefully checked ahead of time. We have a window of roughly 10 days every six weeks - ***** ** ** ******* ********** *** ** **** to enjoy travelling. I go to a lot of trouble to book only direct flights that do not leave or arrive at ungodly hours, scrupulously avoiding connecting flights or overly lengthy flights. So, you can imagine how delighted I was when I purchased a package with a 5-hr flight to Curacao that corresponded with our dates and needs.
However, on December 10, I was advised by Air Canada of a schedule change. Our flight would now be leaving Montreal at 6:00 am. with a layover and a change of planes in Toronto and an even worse scenario for the return flights. They do advise you that you have the option of cancelling your trip with a full refund. How generous of them now that all the Black Friday specials are behind us and current packages to Curacao currently cost much more. I am now unable to replace the trip with an equivalent ****** * **** ** *** **** **** ** *******. Had they let me know in June or July things would have been different, but to advise me in mid-December that my long-awaited trip to Curacao is down the tubes is totally unacceptable!

I’ve been to Cuba three times previous and the food was never great on the resorts, beaches and people are great. This resort in March didn’t have eggs or coffee for three days!!! No coffee or fruit or vegetables or meat…very little food. Literally some kind of sausage, bread and cheese was the staple. Oh and cabbage stew… we couldn’t pick our seats on the way home so my gal and i had to sit separate on the way home… I have never complained on a trip and if traveled a lot and when I called air canada vacations… well for one you can’t call them you have to submit an emailed complaint. But there reply was that I should have checked travel advisories. ******. This is the worst **** ******** *** customer service I’ve ever experienced.
