    Failsafe computers in Truro Nova Scotia have my laptop computer in for repair but cannot find it in the shop I have been in contact with the owner for about 2 months now but keeps saying he hasn't the time to keep searching for it or he is still searching for it and will contact me when he finds it I still have a comprehensive data record of the identification information required to positively identify the laptop in question unfortunately at this time I cannot upload this document so I will have to send it to you in a follow-on email that I will send after I have finished this form application

    We received the laptop from Mr ****** son and did the diagnoses of the Lenovo Laptop that has a broken hinge and bad Hard Drive and it was deemed that it would be too costly to repair and then in the meantime the Laptop was set aside to call the customer and get a response from Mr ****** son, Then the laptop was here from a long time and moved to a wrong location and as I told Mr ***** that it could not be found yet; each time , we never stopped looking until we found it in the wrong place to be returned to the customer but in Mr *****'s case after being contacted but the Truro Police.

    The Laptop in question has been taken to the Police Dispatch and given to the Police officer on Record for on the report that Mr ***** submiited. As far as I know the Officer was going to hand deliver the laptop to Mr *****. The Laptop was returned in the exact same condition that it was given to us, broker hinge and unreadable Hard Drive. The Laptop will turn on to a BIOS screen but does not boot up and the Hinge is still broken, the Laptop was deemed by us to be too costly to repair with New Hinges( because they come in pairs), the Cost of the repair and the reinstalling windows and possible upgrade of Hard Drive.

     

    We never collected any money for the prospective diagnoses of the repair. We are sorry the incident happened, I am now working on my own due to covid and no one wanting to work so somethings were not done to our normal work and progress of work. We have put measures in place for this not to happen again.

     

    We are not asking for any money to change hands now that the laptop was returned in the condition that it arrived and then given to the Police office on record so all we can assume is the laptop is the laptop is now back in Mr *****'s Hands.
