      We bought and moved into a new build home from A&S in August 2024. We had to pay a landscaping deposit as the yard was not complete. Once completed we would be refunded. REMOVED Landscaping was done July 2025 within the 12 month limit set by A&S and pics were emailed to them as requested.
      They insist that communication for this subject matter be by email only to a specific email address.
      I have been trying/emailing for close to 4 months weekly to get info and when we get our money back but they just ignore us.
      They did email us back one time saying their rep Louis at the RM was the decision maker.
      I contacted Louis and he said all was good and they will release the refund to A&S who will in turn refund us.
      5 weeks and still nothing, nor will they answer an email. I want my money ASAP! REMOVED

      We have been working with the homeowner on their concerns and did have the property developer connect with them at the end of October.

       

      The individual erected an out of compliance fence resulting in the refundable not being released.  The developer has discussed this and we have their documentation on the matter.

       

      We were under the impression all has been resolved, perhaps this was a timing issue as this was relayed to the homeowner Oct 20, 2025.

      When we moved into the house outside, the temperature was not that below, but the next week temperature went to -43. My house temperature was 15c and we were shivering in the house. I called everywhere, whatever phone number they gave us to call. Finely the Furness guy came, and he said nothing wrong with Furness. Then, we hired a private inspection inspector to figure out what was wrong. when he opened the attic, he said there was no insulation at all. In the next couple of days, A & S put the insulation in but now I am worried that because of all the moisture that had accumulated with no insulation. There is now mould growing under the insulation." He will be coming back again to inspect that because that is not the only MAJOR errors in the workmanship!!! If they had checked the house properly before they gave us the keys we wouldn't suffer. Now I keep telling them my main floor does not feel that sturdy but they made many excuses. So I call the private inspection again to figure out why it is like that. He told us that floor joist was in the basement not properly fixed. They are not even nailed at all. I will attach the report to this email. my washroom doors are not equal. I have rust in the kitchen sink and the washroom sink has a crack already. We didn't make this house with A&S to move and we don't want to be neglected. When I complained about my entertainment unit they sent the Coordinator ( REMOVED) to check what was going on he was very rude to my husband. we just want our problems to be fixed without any other harassment.
      Someone within your company please take this seriously. I have lost several days of work and countless hours of sleep because of the neglect. Because of the delay, I am sending you this email and trust you will get back to me quickly. If I don't hear anything about these construction failures I will have to take further steps. Please call me back if you need anything else from me.

      we have reviewed the house file on this address and the possession date of this home was on December 8th, 2023. It was brought to our attention that there was no insulation in the attic on January 15, 2024, we were able to have the insulation blown into the attic on January 16th, 2024, it was also noted that the attic space was free of any moisture or frost at that time On May 10th, 2024, there was a site meeting with the homeowners and representatives from A&S homes, at which time a review of the entertainment area took place, and the concern of a bouncy floor was brought up. During this site meeting it was discussed that a service technician would return on July 8th to the 10th to address the entertainment area concerns and secure any loose blocking of the floor joisting system. The date for the service appointment was set to accommodate the homeowners schedule as she works in the school system.  A&S homes will arrange for the shower door instillation company to return and assess the doors to ensure that everything installed properly and to code, also A&S homes will follow up with the supplier of both sinks to come and assess the sinks to confirm if it is a manufactures defect. Our goal at A&S homes is to address the homeowner's concerns in a timely manner.

      In October of 2022 I completed my landscaping at my home in Ste adolphe. A&S homes owns the lot next to me, but hadn’t begun development of their property yet when my landscaping had been completed. Once development began, their contractor or employee crossed my property with their construction equipment (skid steer) and dug up my landscaping, along with ruining some paving stones on my property. I believe this occurred in Feb/Mar 2023. Once I noticed the damages I reached out to A&S homes and was put in contact with their project manager, Jeremy. He was very quick to be in touch with me and set up a meeting to view the damage. However, once he arrived for the meeting and some basic expectations were listed by myself, the manner of the conversation changed and it’s a been a battle to make contact with him ever since. We agreed the damage should be taken care of when the snow dissipated in spring, but that timeline has come and gone. I also offered to arrange a professional landscape contractor to take care of the work, (since that’s what I paid for initially to landscape my yard) and contact A&S for payment, but this idea was met with a roadblock as well. I’ve tried to maintain contact but have been met with resistance or ignored all together.

      While I understand timelines may vary, I’m looking for contact from A&S homes to set up a plan I approve of to fix my yard prior to end of summer.

      Please be advised that A&S Homes Site Manager met with Liam REMOVEDon site on July 28th to review the stone damage on his yard. The meeting went very well.

      A&S Homes is pleased to inform you that we will be replacing the 5 damaged stones as requested by Liam. A&S Homes has contacted the supplier and has made the purchase order for the stones. Upon arrival of the stones, A&S will be contacting Liam and installing/replacing the 5 damaged stones with the same product that was damaged as per Liam's request.
