I have never met such a remarkable company as Gaslight Heat Services. I applied in 2022 for the NRCan Greener Homes Grant to help retrofit my home with a new heat pump heating and cooling system. Conscious of the fact that I could and should do better for the environment, I had my home assessed for energy loss. I was quite taken aback about the energy wastage and in early 2024 decided to commit to a new heat pump. Jenn, the Office Manager at Gaslight Heat Services not only helped me to place my order but also ensured, on a daily basis that the Gaslight Heat Services team delivered the required equipment and services on time and on budget. Importantly, she helped me to coordinate the services of an independent electrician so that my heat pump would be properly installed and connected to my home electrical panel and grid. Jenn then assisted me to file the newly installed heat pump equipment with NRCan Greener Homes program and the BC Provincial Government in order to qualify for energy saving rebates. She then also arranged for an annual service and inspection and helped guide me through a 12-year extended warranty program. The customer service was simply outstanding, and it should be noted that the company owner himself undertook the initial home installation assessment. Gaslight Heat Services deserves a 5/5 gold star rating - and my 50 year old home in Oak Bay now has a new lease on life, one that will help provide a cleaner and better environment for all our grandchildren.
