      T Squared Construction took a week to return my call regarding an issue with a renovation they did. When I did hear from Tony, he did not let me speak and kept saying that it was not his fault. This is the same treatment that I got during the renovation process. There was never acknowledgement of sub-standard work. The only focus was on getting paid as quickly as possible for work that had not been done or was not acceptable. T Square Construction has no regard for their clients based on the level of customer service and quality of work. Homeowners need to aware and wary before hiring this company.

      After meeting Easy Installations & T-Square Renovations at a local home show, I hired them to do a relatively small renovation project on my home.
      One of the projects was to replace a support beam for my deck. T-Square spent a lot of time on this job, at times requiring two carpenters. This did not pass inspection, revisions were to be done. I was given a quote from T-Square for the revision, $3074.90. I did not proceed with T-Square, another carpenter removed the work originally done by T-Square, he completed the job alone in less than one day for $848.29.
      I was charged for a permit for electrical work, upon investigation I discovered the permit was not obtained.
      T-Square was hired to do a job which required drywall and taping.
      The original allowance indicated by T-Square for this was $950.00, I was charged $2494.23, I had not added any extra work from the original quote.
      In my opinion ** **** ** ***** ************* the quality of the drywall done by T- Square necessitated hiring a new contractor to redo the drywall. Almost all the drywall was removed and redone. Upon removal of the drywall more errors were exposed, i.e. areas that were to have been insulated were not. Areas which should have had cover plates to allow for access, (plumbing flush out, etc.) were completely covered by drywall. An electrical plug was not moved forward enough to allow access.
      A quote from a drywall contractor with over 35 years of experience,” I was shocked by the workmanship I witnessed. Would also be of my opinion that scrap drywall was used and most likely taken from another project.” “What I witnessed was an atrocity and should never have been allowed in good faith to go forward.” ***** ************* ********* *** **** ***** I hired T-Square based partly on the cost allowance for the work, the method of billing I found misleading. The final charges much higher than the original allotment.
      I ended my contract and strongly advise against hiring this company for any type of work.

      We paid the first deposit for our small kitchen renovation project on December 24, 2021. The project started as scheduled in April 2022. Everything proceeded over the next 4 months with average delays due to supply chain and staff shortages. There was no proactive communication about these delays. I expressed my frustration with the lack of customer service to Tom and Tony at the beginning of August, asking for more timely communication.


      By end of September 2022 the back-order pieces were installed and we had updated the deficiency list. There was a site visit at the end of October to address some items.
      I never heard back from anyone until end of January 2023. By that point I had assumed they were not coming back and I was managing most of the deficiencies on my own. Over the next month with more miscommunications, a final painting to address the original deficiency list from September. Although there were still small fixes to do, I was done with this project.
      There was a visit by Tom mid-February 2023, to present the final bill where I asked to have a meeting with Tony to discuss my final bill and the project overall. I waited over 10 days when the office contacted me to schedule a walk through for our deficiency list!


      After calling the office and explaining our project status, it became clear that all the admin and accounting staff were new and not up to date. We schedule a final bill meeting at my home on February 27, 2023. At that meeting Tony did not attend, instead Tom presented my bill saying he had talked to Tony about it.
      The lack of customer service, follow up, follow through and general miscommunications has made this project end on a very negative note. My kitchen is complete and I am satisfied with the end product in general (with some minor deficiencies that I refuse to wait for any longer) but I cannot recommend Easy Installations or T-Square as a company that operates with any sense of customer service or integrity.
