      We hired this company to install cabinets and countertops. Our IKEA cabinetry arrived Dec 16/22, pre assembled. Installation began Dec 18/22. The installer told us he had simply placed the cabinets so it looked nice for Christmas and would level and place permanently when he returned after Christmas. Dec 29/22 a representative from the countertop business arrived to take measurements for the countertop templates. We discussed with her our concern as the cabinets were still not in their permanent levelled positions. Jan 11/23 the countertops were permanently installed, after we had talked with 3 different people at Easy Installations and leaving a written note for the countertop installer. Easy Installations told us the cabinet installer could “work around the countertops”. Jan 13/23 the cabinet installer came and “did as much as I can” stating that he had to remove two of the countertops to adjust the lower cabinet and the countertop with the sink he would not lift and it needs to be lifted and shortened so the cabinet beyond it can be moved into the proper place. It is now Jan 20/23, 5 weeks after the arrival of our new cabinets, and the installation in incomplete. We have attempted to contact Easy Installations to get an idea of the timeline we are looking at and they tell us they will look into it and then never call back.

      Unfortunately the situation for this project is that we were hired/contracted by the owner of the house  ***** and we try to communicate only with the owner as it makes projects easier as multiple people involved just makes it very confusing. We have had numerous conversations with both the owner and **** about this project. Adjustments and modifications are a normal part of cabinetry install and sometimes requires additional materials to be ordered, as we have stated to **** over the phone, we are and have been working to complete the project at this residence. As one of our employees was at the house on jan 24th to look over any deficiencies, as he discussed with ***, we will be ordering a couple of required pieces so we can complete the project once these items are received.

       I am rejecting this response because:
      The contract may be in ***** name but **** has been involved from the discussion phase as she lives in the house as well


      Yes adjustments and modifications occurr however: the delays go beyond this. The original cabinet installer stated on Jan 13/23 that he was available to return and complete the installation however Easy Installations waited until the 13th of Jan yo have the installer back. Some of the delays that are occurring now could have been avoided IF Easy installations had completed the cabinet install BEFORE directing the countertop install to go ahead  

      This company has a serious lack of communication.
