    Quick Shuttle operates highway motor coach buses without three point seatbelts either for passengers or driver. While unfortunately, the government has not mandated seat belts for older buses (only for those manufactured prior to the federal legislation mandate coming into effect), the company has chosen not to invest in retrofitting its buses without seatbelts. Some of the new buses have seatbelts but there is no way for a customer to know prior to boarding the bus whether or not it has seatbelts. Highway driving can be hazardous and I did not feel safe but had to ride the bus to my return destination as it was my only way back. The outbound bus had seatbelts so I assumed all buses did. I submitted a letter to headquarters and never received a response. When I spoke to company service representatives they were dismissive and admitted it was due to cost and that my complaint was not a priority. This company should voluntarily retrofit its older fleet and ensure that customers know prior to travel that a bus may not have seatbelts. All personal vehicles are mandated to have seatbelts. It is illogical that public highway buses do not.
