1 starI had a terrible experience with Ecoline Windows regarding the warranty for blinds I purchased about a year ago. My sales **** ****, assured me the blinds came with a 5-year warranty. However, when one of my blinds stopped working, I contacted customer service, only to be told the warranty was only 1 year and had already expired in September. They offered to send me an estimate to order a replacement motor, but when I explained to **** from the service department that the issue was with the battery, not the motor, he completely ignored my message and never followed ***** make matters worse, **** never answered any of my phone calls or messages. This lack of accountability and communication is unacceptable.Their warranty policy is misleading, and their customer service is extremely disappointing. The quality of their products is also questionable. If youre considering Ecoline, demand written confirmation of their warranty and any verbal commitments because their word cannot be trusted.If I could give them zero stars, I would. Unfortunately, the system doesnt allow less than one star.Avoid Ecoline Windows if you value transparency, quality, and professional customer service.Review fromLynsey R

1 starThe only reason this company even gets 1 star from me is because, technically, I do have my windows installed. However, I can confidently say that the journey to get to this point has been singe handedly the most frustrating experience I have ever had dealing with a contractor. Our windows were not installed on time. We had to constantly follow up and push to get on the schedule (our windows also were magically ready to be installed as soon as we started discussing requesting our money back). The installation team no showed us during our scheduled time. The communication between the schedulers and crews is atrocious. Actually, the communication from this company in general is completely subpar. Once the installation crew actually showed up and put the windows in (payment up front, of course) they did not install our trim as we directed them to. Not only that, they did not even bring enough trim to finish the windows at all. Weeks later, after us again constantly having to follow up and push for this job to get done, they finally came back to deliver more trim so that we could finish the job ourselves. And despite the fact that we sent them exact measurements of what we would require, they STILL did not bring enough and had to come back the next day with more. The lack of customer care, totally unacceptable communication, and complete inefficiency of this company are just a few of the reasons I will never use them again or recommend them to anyone. We would have been better off to do this job ourselves (and honestly, had to finish most of it on our own anyways). And to top it all off, even though the windows are installed, we've now discovered one is crooked. If you're looking for a company with a strong attention to detail, that takes pride in their work and customer service practices, who will effectively communicate with you, then I would highly recommend you look elsewhere. I can't wait to never have to deal with Ecoline Windows again.
